Yvonne Sirmans

Mrs. Betty "Yvonne" Sirmans, 82 of Acworth, formerly of Adel passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving daughters, Janice, Donna, and Patricia.  Her family knew her as one of the most kind, gentle, and soft-hearted persons in their lives. Sickness ravaged her body over the last few years, but she remained a sweet blessing in our lives to the very end. In all ways - a blessing. Our hearts are broken, but she has been made whole, as we will too, when we see her again.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Richard) Cabral of Valdosta, Patricia (Scott) Corbalis of Tyrone, and Janice (Frank) McElwain of Acworth; grandchildren, Alicia (Johnny) Price, Russell (Leslie) Cabral, Matthew Cabral & Brooke Warren, Ashley (Nick) Woods, Sharon Corbalis, Amber (Raylon) Powers, Luke McElwain, Clay (Sallie) McElwain, and Ruth McElwain; and 15 great grandchildren. Mrs. Sirmans was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Sirmans; parents, Jack & Juanita Webb; and one brother, Bobby Webb.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Austin Wynn officiating. Interment will follow at Longbridge Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
